Catholic Educators Attend AECON 2011
SPCIS President, SAC Learn Anew

Sr. Teresita Bayona, Spc, President, St. Paul College of Ilocos Sur, together with Ms. Jenny Rose Arenas, Subject Area Coordinator, English Dept. (High School) met with other Catholic educators across the country for the Annual Educators’ Congress last Sept. 1-2, 2011, One Esplanade, Mall of Asia Business Center.
The conference allowed the delegates to discuss current trends in curriculum design and teaching particularly on Understanding by Design and Differentiated Instruction. It featured a live teleconference with one of the UbD proponents, Mr. Jay McTighe and was facilitated by foreign curriculum experts Dr. Nanci Smith and Janie Ray Smith.
The said gathering was sponsored by Rex Bookstore Inc.
