A CENTURY
OF SERVICE, A CENTURY OF SUCCESS
(A message from faculty members)

There are few organizations that
last a hundred years. The fact that St. Paul College of Ilocos
Sur (formerly Rosary College) has
reached this important milestone is a sign that it has been serving
well its clientele through the years. As a faculty member with two
years stay in this institution, I marvel at its growth from its
humble
beginnings. I don’t
exactly know what happened in those 100 years, except for some
information from documents and stories that I have heard about
the school.
I had beautiful experiences during
the preparation for the launching of its centennial celebration
as I was involved as member of the
Committee on Promotions and Advertisements. But more importantly,
I was involved in one remarkable activity - the musical play “Annie” in
which I played the role of Oliver Warbucks. That was indeed a worth
endeavor.
The experience challenged me as a faculty to strive more, push
myself to the limit, because there is a lot to do in the next 100
years in this institution. The opportunity to be part of the Centennial
Celebration was very rewarding. I realized the value of sacrifice,
volunteerism, bayanihan and loyalty.
Well, I am very glad to be part of
the achievement of this institution. And truly I am proud to be
a member of the Paulinian family.
And I would say that there are so many things to be improved,
so many
things to do and I welcome them. I accept all this challenge
because the next 100 years of service requires more energy,
more passion
and more dedication towards another century of success. Happy
100 years!

It is really amazing, come to think of it- after
100 years, old friends, new friends met together after a long time
of not seeing
one another. It is a joy to see how St. Paul College of Ilocos
Sur have progressed all through the years. We look forward for
more years of catering to hundreds of thousands of students and
be able to meet the vision of the institution of serving the
least, the last and the lost.
